My name is Florence Njeri, and I am a software engineer by profession. Over the past three years, I have developed for the web, mobile, and have experience in SDET and technical writing.
Currently, I work as a Software Development Engineer in Test. In this role, I analyze bugs and create detailed reports, perform manual and automated regression testing for features to ensure that existing features do not break. What I love most about my job is that I get to work with the entire application, allowing me to better support and onboard developers when they work on new features. This deep knowledge of the application helps me succeed in my role as an SDET.
Writing comes naturally to me. I began writing early on in my career by documenting fixes to bugs and challenging problems I had solved. This has since evolved to documenting projects and writing articles that teach other developers various features and functionalities they can leverage. My job as an SDET and educational background in software engineering have greatly contributed to my ability to write deeply researched and well-written technical articles and documentation.
